Chapter 7 Means Test Calculation (Form 122A-2)

Step by Step Instructions:

  1. Select [ Bankruptcy > Other ]

     

  2. Enter case number and click Next

     

  3. Select Chapter 7 Means Test Calculation (Form 122A-2) and click Next

     

  4. Select the Debtor(s) you represent from the party pick list and click Next

    The Attorney / Party Association screen may display.  Click here for more information and click Next


    The following will appear if Form 122A-1 was not filed:


    STOP: The Chapter 7 Statement of Your Current Monthly Income, MUST be filed before this event can be filed.

    If the pdf is Official Form 122-A-1, please file with the event, Chapter 7 Statement of Your Current Monthly Income.

    If the pdf is Official Form 122A-2, please file Official Form 122-A-1, Chapter 7 Statement of Your Current Monthly Income first and then file Official Form 122A-2, Chapter 7 Means Test Calculation

  5. The PDF screen will display

  6. The Presumption of Abuse drop down menu will display:

    • Highlight one of the options from the drop down menu

    • Click Next

       

     

  7. The Modify Text screen will display

    If applicable, you may make a selection from the prefix dropdown box.

  9. Verify the accuracy of the docket text. If not correctClosedselect Bankruptcy to start over/ If correct

  10. Click, Next

     

The Notice of Electronic Filing will display.  It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.

Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.  You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the document filed.
